Supportive Campus Culture

Youth at Daytona JRF become a part of a cohesive, supportive community. Every young man feels like he belongs and can succeed. Our program provides a nurturing, trauma-informed environment where youth receive targeted treatment and interventions specific to his risk and need.

Family Engagement

Daytona JRF recognizes the role of the family in a young man’s success while placed with us, as well as when he returns home.  We are committed to engaging families in their sons’ treatment programs while strengthening family bonds.  Families are invited to visit the campus to participate in therapy, enjoy family fun days and celebrate special events or holidays. Family visitation occurs weekly and is further supported through video conferencing.  Complimentary transportation to campus is available for families traveling long distances.

Clinical Services

The clinical team works collaboratively with each youth, his family and case management to develop an individualized treatment plan that addresses his specific risk and need factors. Master-level therapists provide individual counseling as well as evidence based group treatment.  Interventions and treatment services include Aggression Replacement Therapy, Lifeskills Training, Impact of Crime, Cannabis Youth Treatment, Council for Boys and Young Men, and Pathways.

Academic & Vocational Training

Through year-round high school and career and technical education programs, Daytona JRF emphasizes an education experience that links personalized learning to college or career readiness.

Education services provided by the local school district include special education, credit recovery and accelerated learning.  Students have the opportunity to earn their high school diploma or GED.

Through relevant career tracks, students gain practical, applicable skills which allow them to enter the job market with industry-recognized certifications in-hand.

Extracurricular Opportunities

Participation in athletics and other extracurricular activities have a positive impact on a young person’s cognitive development and overall mental health.  At Daytona JRF youth have the opportunity to participate in intramural competitions, community outreach programs, and club sports. These activities support a healthy lifestyle while developing leadership, teamwork and communication skills that can be applied to other areas of daily life.
